September is my favorite time of the year. It's a poetic time allowing for reflection before cold weather sets in. Flying biting insects are gone, the air is crisp yet still warm and there is a very distinct smell of sweetness to it. Great time to take a stroll about, chat with your neighbors, check their gardens, and pet-friendly animals. I love Shoddyhallow Road and often walked there, my favorite stretch is Sweetman's farm. They are a very friendly bunch and have a beautiful farm. Once, they even let me feed their baby goats from a bottle with milk.
